Stand For Wolves on November 19, 20, 22 and December 4

Dear Guardian,

You have four new opportunities to come stand for wolves. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service plans to abandon gray wolf recovery and continue a deeply flawed Mexican wolf recovery effort. The Service needs to hear from you in person in Denver, CO, Albuquerque, NM, Sacramento, CA and Pinetop, AZ.

Will you join us and be a voice for wolves?

Removing Endangered Species Act protections for all gray wolves will unravel 35 years of efforts to bring these amazing animals back from the brink and put wolves at the mercy of hunters’ guns and traps.

Wolves remain absent from huge swaths of their historic range, including all of Colorado and Utah. Watch our short film to learn more about why gray wolves are so important for healthy ecosystems, and then come speak for wolves.

The magnificent Mexican wolf could face extinction if their population and home range are not allowed to expand substantially. The Service wants to contain Mexican wolves to only a portion of southern Arizona and New Mexico, where only 75 wolves roam. To thrive, Mexican wolves need the wild habitats of the Grand Canyon, the forests and canyons of northern Arizona and southern Utah, and the rich environs of northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. Mexican wolves need your voice.

Stay tuned for more details on pre-hearing events hosted by WildEarth Guardians and our conservation allies. We’ll provide helpful materials and tips on giving testimony.

The deadline for public comments is now December 17.

Come tell the Service the job of wolf recovery is not done, not when wolves have only returned to 5% of their historic habitat.

For the Wolves,
