Plant Trees, Protect Our Water
Dear ,
Every year, WildEarth Guardians plants tens of thousands of trees and shrubs as part of our commitment to rewild damaged landscapes and restore fragile wildlife habitat during our annual Stream Team days. This year, we invite you to join us for our tree planting events on the Valles Caldera National Preserve.
Planting native riparian vegetation will improve water quality and wildlife habitat for keystone species like beaver, which in turn can benefit native fish and wildlife.
Our Stream Team planting days will be on Saturday, May 14 and Saturday, June 4, along Jaramillo Creek from 9:30am-4pm. This is a great opportunity to give back to the environment and have fun. Get your hands dirty and reconnect to our wild rivers. We'll provide snacks and tools.
Contact Amy Paloranta with questions or further details for this event. Please RSVP two weeks in advance for either planting date per Valles Caldera Preserve’s request.
For the wild,

P.S. If you recently purchased a tree, here is your opportunity to plant it for that special person—we hope to see you there.
