Dear Guardian,

The future for wolves and other endangered species is looking pretty grim with a Trump Presidency now less than 60 days away. We must be ready to take action.

Whether it’s Sarah Palin or someone even worse running the Interior Department, we can be sure that whoever it is will try to weaken the Endangered Species Act and incite hostility towards native carnivores.

That means trophy hunters and trappers calling the shots at both the state and the federal level. That’s bound to mean more trapping, snaring, and hunting of wolves.

But before that can ever happen, wolf-haters will have to confront WildEarth Guardians. To counter the looming threats to wolves we’re deploying our crack team of lawyers and wolf advocates who will be ready to rush to court to stop a Sarah Palin-led Interior Department (or whomever) from stripping away Endangered Species Act safeguards.
