Dear Guardian,
As the snow melts, flowers start to bloom, and birdsong is in
the air in Montana, grizzly bears are finally emerging from their deep winter
sleep.
Unfortunately, grizzlies are in the crosshairs as trophy
hunters and their political allies in the Trump Administration and Congress try
to strip away Endangered Species Act protections. Help us safeguard grizzlies as
they emerge from their winter slumber.
Never before have grizzly bears faced such threats from political
meddling. Congress wants to gut the Endangered Species Act and Montana’s Senator
Jon Tester is being pressured to ignore federal law and science and strip Montana’s
grizzlies of the protections they so desperately need.
Be a voice for grizzly bears and tell Montana’s Senator
Tester to let science and species conservation come first.
As a representative for one of our nation’s last truly wild
places—a place where grizzlies still roam free, wolverines traverse high mountain
peaks, and Canada lynx glide through boreal forests––Senator Tester could be
a champion for our nation’s natural wonders. Tell Senator Tester to stand up
against attacks on our country’s rarest wildlife and last remaining wild places.
Grizzly bears and the wild landscapes they need to thrive are
icons of the American West. Be a voice for their future and tell Senator Tester
to respect the rule of law, the role of science and the spirit of the great
bear.
For the wild,
