Outstanding National Resource Waters Petition

WildEarth Guardians will use the Outstanding National Resource Waters (ONRW) provision of the CWA to petition for protection of each and every stream and waterway inside of the inventoried roadless forests of the four corners region. Once waters are designed as ONRW, the CWA provides full protection from any potential future pollution. Thus, we keep roads-and the pollution they cause-out of our wild forests AND the pristine waterways within our forests are permanently protected.
