An Exclusive WildEarth Guardians' Tour of the Southern New Mexico Wilderness

Santa Fe, June 25, 2010. WildEarth Guardians, in collaboration with Seven Directions|Cultural and Sustainable Tours, features a 5-day tour into America’s first wilderness bioregion, the Gila Wilderness.

Escorted by a biologist in wolf ecology and wildland conservation, also accompanied by a Chiricahua Apache guide, guests are immersed in the nexus of a wild and free environment, thus preserving the authenticity of this theme tour.

The tour starts and ends in Albuquerque, N.M. and includes unique stops along the way (i.e., Malpaís National Monument, a Wolf Sanctuary, Cliff Dwellings National Monument, to mention some), before venturing into the famed Gila National Forest and Wilderness. The last day will be at Ted Turner’s 400,000-acre Armendaris Ranch, which contains some of the most pristine Chihuahuan desert grassland in the Southwest.

NEW 2010 departure: October 17th.
